• Last call for Langan Test 4. Pages 484 and 486 in Langan.
• Last call for Article sharing 6 and for Paragraph 2, final draft
  
• Write Journal # 16: If you ever opt to move from Hawaii, describe where you will go and describe the transition you will have to make.
• Take Vocab Test 3
• Turn in Freewrite 300 words about what you like and dislke about LCC.
• Go over Langan HW
  
• Turn in Kanar 3.6
• Go over Langan 484-485. Take Langan Test 4—p 486.
• Begin work on simple and compound sentences
• Talk about thesis sentence/statement. Give examples of three-point thesis.

Homework for Thursday 10/9

• Langan—Write 9 simple sentences and 5 compound sentences. See Langan pp xx-xx for examples.
  
• Kanar--p. 100-101 Do "How Well Do You Remember" and Chapter Quiz 1.
  
• Essay 1 thesis. It should state the topic and the assertion about the topic and make reference to three points.
